Our Access Statement

Access to Ynys Pandy is via a private drive from a minor road with a 5/6 berth car park 10 metres from the front door or you could drive right to the door.

Walking to 'Ynys' front door from the car park is about 10 metres of fairly level ground, over a few slate flagstones, which may be slippery if wet. There are 6 very shallow slate steps to get through the front door.

Inside, the kitchen/dining area, lounge and conservatory are all level. From the kitchen there are 2 steps up to the utility room, cloakroom and bathroom. From the conservatory, there are 2 steps up to the lawned garden.

From the kitchen/dining area there is a quite narrow and fairly steep staircase to the four first floor bedrooms.

Please note the bathroom is downstairs! There is a handrail on the right hand wall, and we do provide a stairgate for small children, a night light on the landing and a good old chamber pot in all the bedrooms in case of urgency, especially at night time. We do not want to spoil the character of' Ynys by installing an upstairs bathroom. Sorry for the inconvenience of our conveniences.
